About the Role

The Lead Qualification Expert will be responsible for reviewing inbound and outbound leads, assessing their fit based on established criteria, and ensuring alignment with sales priorities. You’ll act as the gatekeeper for the sales pipeline, maintaining lead quality, optimizing conversion potential, and supporting overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

📊 Lead Evaluation & Scoring

  • Review and assess incoming leads from multiple sources, including marketing campaigns, inbound inquiries, referrals, and databases.

  • Apply lead scoring criteria based on factors such as budget, authority, need, timeline, and engagement level.

  • Prioritize leads to focus on the highest-potential opportunities for sales teams.

  • Maintain consistent and accurate records of lead assessments in CRM systems.

  • Conduct initial outreach via phone, email, or messaging platforms to validate lead information and readiness.

  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and conversion rates.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices, market trends, and lead qualification methodologies.

  • Suggest new tools, technologies, or processes to enhance lead assessment and tracking.

  • Participate in training and development initiatives to improve personal and team performance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in lead qualification, sales development, telemarketing, or sales support roles.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.).

  • Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

  • Knowledge of lead scoring, sales pipelines, and B2B or B2C sales processes.

  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working under performance targets.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
